About
Situated near the village of Dale, the beach can be accessed using steps straight from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It is a popular beach with surfers. If you are visiting the beach at low tide you might be lucky and catch a glimpse of the steam boat wreck.
Dogs are allowed. Parking in Dale or a car park by the old airfield on the road to St Anne’s lighthouse. Cafe, pub, shop and toilets in Dale.
Waves here are good with solid swells and north-easterly winds but beware of strong rips, submerged outcrops, unpredictable currents and powerful waves, so best left to the more experienced surfer.
Conditions
Strong rips and ubmerged outcrops
