Victoria Park Reamers Skatepark

    About

This concrete skatepark is situated in Victoria park and was long awaited finally being unveiled in July 2011. Constructed by the guys at Wheelscape it’s main feature is the huge, quirky bowl which holds London’s only cradle and the second in the UK after Hastings. The bowl itself has some nice lines and transitions ranging from 5-8 foot with some sharp hips, clean transitions and a foot of vert in places. It also features a small street section featuring some hips, pump bumps, banks and ledges scattered around with a bowled corner for linking lines together. Overall this section has a nice smooth flow and has been designed with skaters in mind. Victoria Park skatepark is nice local park and a good place to go for an afternoon session however the obstacles in the street section don’t have a huge amount of space between them so be sure to come on a weekday if you want some space as it can get crowded at busy times.
