    About

You have the best of both worlds; there is easy access from the village, with several roads leading right down onto the beach. As you head west away from the village the backdrop turns into one of low dunes and fields beyond. Traeth Crigyll is a popular spot among watersports enthusiasts with kite-surfing, windsurfing, canoeing and surfing all possible on the right conditions. The slipway also allows easy beach access making it a good spot for launching small boats. Rhosneigr offers epic conditions and always seems to be more windy than anywhere else! The horseshoe bay creates epic swell on big days. You'll be sure to see some skilled windsurfers and kitesurfers going big when conditions are pumping. There are several roads leading to the beach offering free parking and all the amenities that you will need in town. Works best with a southerly wind. The northern bay is better for kitesurfers, while the southern one attracts surfers.
