Readymoney Cove

Readymoney Cove is a sandy beach to the south of the harbour town of Fowey. It is sheltered by cliffs close to the mouth of the River Fowey estuary and bounded, on one side, by the medieval part of the town of Fowey and, on the other, by St Catherine's Castle. there is no parking at the beach but you can walk round to Readymoney from Fowey. We have paddled round from Fowey as well. This is a great secluded beach relatively popular at peak holiday times. There is a great walk following the South West Coastal path from Fowey that passes Ready Money, Polridmouth Cove and follow the path around to Polkerris Beach for a great lunch at Sam's on the Beach!!
