Simply stunning spot for a kayak or sup. Lovely sheltered bay with option to follow coastline when out of it. No real issues with tide danger, but it does get very low. Guaranteed to be accompanies by seals, maybe even some bigger sea mammals. Plocton has a few pubs, shops and toilets.
