Ladies Bay

Ladies Bay features shallow, flatter waters that are ideal around high tide. At high tide, the beach disappears completely, but there’s plenty of space during low tide. Windsurfers will find a designated rigging area at the northern end of the car park. While it's possible to rig a kite here, the walk to the water can be tricky due to rocks and brambles along the path. In summer, a buoyed channel is set up near the car park end of the beach. The Environment Department requests that kiters use this channel to avoid disturbing beachgoers—unless wind or water conditions make launching from another area the safer option.
