Jedburgh

    About

Jedforest Trails have taken advantage of the stunning countryside surrounding Jedburgh and have created a unique mixture of waymarked mountain bike routes. They consist of an eclectic mix of natural and man made surfaced trails linked by forest track and some tarmac roads; with great views across the Border countryside. In parts you will follow old Drovers’ and Roman roads in the footsteps of our Reivers ancestry. With the routes based around Jedburgh you’re never far away from the local facilities. As these trails are ‘natural’ and not armoured in their entirety, then depending on the weather, there may well be wet and muddy sections; fair weather trails – as described in a mountain bike article. Jedburgh is on the A68. Once in Jedburgh park in the main car park beside the Tourist Information Office.
