Hythe is a beach in the North of Hythe Bay, Kent. Hythe Bay stretches from Folkestone down to the headland of Dungeness and is lined by beaches. The beach at Hythe is predominantly shingle with wide shallow sand flats exposed at low water. The beach is backed by a promenade and the town of Hythe.
