The 25km Gwydir Mawr Trail is an awesome mountain bike trail. most of the big climbs on fire tracks followed by lovely big descents, brilliant singletrack and great scenery make this an all time classic trail. The singletrack varies from very tight, technical and rocky to open and flowing, through dark woodland and jagged rocks.
It incorporates the shorter Gwydir Bach trail, which is a 8.7km version taking between 45 to 90 minutes to complete.

Travelling north east through Betwys-y-Coed on the A5, turn right over the bridge heading towards Llanrwst on the B5106. Continue straight ahead for about 3.5 miles. The carpark is on your left. If you reach a T-junction, you've go too far.
