Budle Bay

    Northumberland, North East

    About

One of the few spots in the North East that can be used in a westerly, Budle is a tidal bay that fills approximately 2 hours either side of high tide although it can be sailed for longer on a neap tide. Good location for all levels but not without some hazards including gusty winds and strong currents, particularly when on outgoing spring tide. Check the map for further information.
