Just down the road from Thurso near Crosskirk is Brimms Ness. Bit of a walk in over some feilds but worth it if it's working. Brimms Ness is primarily a reef break that picks up plenty of swell. It works best in a north west swell and offshore in a southerly. Will work in any northerly swell.
